Avalex Technologies is a high growth company with a strong engineering and manufacturing base. We are vertically integrated with design, engineering, prototype & fabrication all occurring at our Pensacola, Florida facility. Because we design all portions of our products and own all Intellectual Property it allows us the flexibility to provide comprehensive services and quick turn times.
Avalex uses core electrical and mechanical designs proven over thousands of hours of use in hundreds of displays delivered to a range of surveillance and military customers. This approach minimizes risk while providing the required functionality for the least non-recurring engineering dollars.
We continually work to innovate; adding features and improving the quality of our products. A history of customization and building to specifications allows us to use our extensive experience integrating signals and systems to produce rugged, reliable & innovative products.
Whether your requirement involves matching a specific footprint, interfacing to multiple sources and signal types or complete design of a system, Avalex offers the ability and flexibility to design hardware and software to meet a wide range of requirements.
AMR4090
The AMR4090 offers Avalex’s rugged LCD display technology and easy to use solid state recorder saving, SPACE, WEIGHT, AND CABLING.
This project is a great example of Avalex’s customization capability and quick response. The specification was provided by the customer and a prototype solution was designed and built within eight weeks. We have delivered over 600 units and this product is currently installed in ground vehicles in both the original 8.4” size and the 12.1” version. A lightweight 8.4” NVG compatible sealed version (AMR4092N) is also available.

AMR4155TQ
The AMR4155TQ is a 15" quad display (4 video inputs displayed simultaneously) that can be controlled via touch screen. Touch any quadrant to display that image full-screen, then touch the screen again to return to the four way split mode. The four-way split can be output from the monitor so it can be recorded or input to an additional display. An optional recorder controller can be added as a separate source of control for the AVR8100/AVR8200 series recorder. The monitor has 6 video inputs, 2 video loop thru and 2 VGA inputs and offers dimming and 2X freeze/zoom.

AVP4109
Another example of our customization capability is the AVP4109. This 10” portrait style monitor was designed with touch screen, bezel button controls, heater for low temp use, NVG compatibility and shows two full screen videos simultaneously. The bezel buttons and touch screen are controlled via RS-232. A custom stowable mounting solution was also designed for this project.

AVP4100
The initial launch of our portrait line of displays was derived from a custom request. The requirement was to add a dual video and VGA display into an existing footprint and installation. Avalex can easily match a design to an existing footprint to bring new capabilities and interfaces while using existing cabling, mounting provisions and allotted space.
