Avalex Technologies is an innovation leader, with 20 years of successful experience in every aspect of manufacturing rugged and reliable Displays, Mapping Systems, Digital Video Recorders and customized products to include hardware and software integration, development and modification. Avalex has grown as a company by harnessing leading edge technologies and developing and customizing products to meet the rugged demands of our customers. Our products are built for the harshest of environments, with hundreds of successful installations in a wide range of platforms from aviation to ground vehicles.

A small business started in 1992, Avalex is vertically integrated with design, engineering, prototype, fabrication, sales and support all occurring at our Pensacola, Florida facility as well as an FAA certified repair station. CEO Tad Ihns founded the Pensacola, FL company. Over the past two decades, we have expanded our product line from one, to five distinct product lines offering numerous options to special-mission operators. Our phenomenal growth first earned us recognition in Inc. magazine in 2007 as one of the fastest growing small companies in America and we have continued in that prestige, being ranked five years in a row.

OUR NEW FACILITY_

To keep pace with the demands of the markets that we serve, Avalex’s new 53,000 square foot headquarters facility was completed in November, 2011. The new Gulf Breeze, FL facility is located on a 9.2 acre site and includes a 20,000 square foot production facility. It houses a dedicated EMI testing lab, thermal test chambers, Mil-Std shock and vibration test facilities and a “clean room” to maximize the integrity of our products. The size of the facility allows for Avalex Technologies to continue to grow to better serve our customers.
