AMS7102 Mapping System
Knowing the terrain is key to a successful mission. With fire mapping, street data, topographic views, VFR/IFR and nautical charts, the AMS7102 Digital Mapping System provides information and the flexibility that vigilance demands.
With a mapping system built on FAA-approved assembly lines, the AMS7102 is certified to DO-160 and MIL-STD qualifications and is US Army Air-Worthiness Release (AWR) approved. It supports vector and raster chart products including National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) products, international data, parcel, and GIS data.
Features
Since 2004, our Maps software has provided full street-level coverage of all 50 states, territories, and possessions; including Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands; and Mexico/Canada border regions for Homeland Security and Airborne Law Enforcement users. Street-level data in our COTS software distribution includes: Administrative areas, center of settlements, exit numbers, geocode, land use, place boundaries, Places of Interest, railroads, streets, water, and waterlines for USA, Canada, Mexico Border States, Puerto Rico, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint Barthelemy, Saint Martin, and Saint Martin, Bonaire, Saint Eustatius, Saba, and Curacao
Our Maps has a robust search menu which allows operators to find and quickly move both map and Wescam sensor to a geographic location based on:
- Address
- Street Intersection
- Interstate Mile Marker and Exit Number
- City Block
- Lat/Long Coordinate
- Name of Hospital, Church, or School
- Name of Geographic Object such as body of water, park, mountain peak, etc.,
- Aviation Database Airport, Waypoint, Navaid
- User managed point database
